Introduzione: L’idea nasce dal bisogno di suscitare emozioni, il bisogno di rinnovare la percezione sensoriale del mondo, ed il bisogno di stimolare l’affetto verso sé stessi e non per forza verso gli altri o dagli altri.

IL PROGETTO:
L’intento è stato quello di fotografare il soggetto in una “performance esperienziale”, mentre ad occhi chiusi è intento a toccare la propria pelle, per percepire prima il contatto dal punto di vista del viso mentre la mano lo tocca, poi al contrario il contatto dal punto di vista della mano che tocca il viso: il protagonista è prima soggetto accarezzato e poi soggetto che accarezza.
Ogni scatto scaturisce dalla luce prodotta dalla sorgente luminosa e riflessa sulla guancia del viso ritratto; ogni immagine quindi ha l’impronta di ciò che contemporaneamente la mano del soggetto tocca e la mente percepisce. Il risultato è l’immagine che è a tutti gli effetti un’impronta. Le immagini ritraggono ciò che la mente del soggetto visualizza, sono immagini visuali che rappresentano il senso del tatto. La carezza rappresenta un atto di amor proprio, l’emblema della cura di sé stessi e viene impressa per sempre su un foglio di carta fotografica.

Introduction: The project was born from the need to arouse emotions, the need to renew the sensory perception of the world and the need to stimulate affection towards oneself and not necessarily towards others or from others. I want to propose the idea of living in peace with oneself and finding the personal peace.
The images capture what the subject’s mind visualizes, they are visual images that represent the sense of touch. The caress represents an act of self-love, the emblem of self-care that is imprinted forever on a sheet of photographic paper. The last step of the project in the real world involves printing the shot and delivering it to the photographed subject.
The idea was to photograph the subject in an “experiential performance”, while with closed eyes it is intent on caressing itself, then touching its skin to first perceive the contact from the point of view of the face while the hand touches it, then on the contrary, the contact from the point of view of the hand that touches the face: the protagonist is first the subject caressed and then the subject who caresses.
The photographic intent is to capture the light produced by the source and reflected on the face cheek; the photographic film will therefore have the imprint of what the subject’s hand has touched and what the mind has perceived at the same time. The result is the image that is in effect an imprint.
